What a Difference 50 Years Makes: This 1959 Midol Ad Means Something Completely Different Today

I came across this ad for Midol in a 1959 Modern Screen magazine and I couldn't help but chuckle. It's amazing to think that the entire meaning of a word, or at least the common conception of the meaning, can change in just 50 years! Imagine seeing this ad in a current magazine. Yeah, I can't either.
